Watermelon-Mint Juice!

Students have a tendency to avoid buying watermelon because of its size! Watermelons tend to be big, and a single living student wouldn’t risk eating an abundance of that fruit daily…

Did you know that watermelon is the cousin to cucumbers, pumpkins, and squash? It’s part a vegetable and a fruit! they also protect cells from damage and may help lower the risk of heart disease! So how could you preserve your watermelon to profit from its benefits?  You just freeze it! Slice the watermelon in half crosswise, and cut off the rind then cut it up in cubes! Put them in separate bags that you’ll be able to use whenever you want!

That way, you could easily prepare a watermelon smoothie in 3 easy steps!

  • 1 bowl frozen cubed  watermelon
  • 1 cup of water
  • 6 Mint leaves
  • 1 tbs Honey
  • ½ Lemon

  1. Blend the watermelon and the water until smooth.
  2. Add the honey and mint leaves and blend again.
