The best chocolate Brownies

Dear foodies,

I didn’t have the chance before to thank you for 2016! But it wouldn’t have been the same without your support. I would like to thank each person who left a comment, a like, a direct message on the social medias and of course a special shoutout to the friends and camarades that meet me in the school’s hallway and never showed me anything but love, appreciation, and jokes about torturing them with my food on instagram.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart… But, for you my heart has no buttom!

This is my special gift for you all! I must confess that I love to eat chocolate cakes more than I like to bake them, but this brownie is easy and highly satisfying which doubles the pleasure!! If you’re looking for a snack, a dessert, or just a treat to enjoy while drinking coffee… This is your call!

These goodies are the best way to show off your baking muscles to your friends and loved ones! You might add some dried fruits into the mixture, go green by making a matcha brownies or if you’re a choco-aholic then an extra layer of dark chocolate would be a good idea.

You’ll be surprised how much the brownies are tender, chewy and crispy at the same time… A soft heart covered with a crusty surface is surely the dessert that you will  soon be fond of, above all of that the rasberries takes the brownies into a whole new fresh level! So trust me when I tell you that these are the best chocolate brownies that you’ll have. Check out the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 170g dark chocolate
  • 125g butter
  • 150 sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 70g flour
  • 2tbs cocoa powder
  • pinch of saltsany0640

 

Instructions:

First, preheat your oven at 180°c

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter with a bain-marie (double boiler).
  2. While you wait for the chocolate to cool, break the eggs and whisk it together with sugar until having a white mixture;
  3. Pour the cooled melted butter+ chocolate into the batter. Then add flour and cocoa powder while whisking.
  4. Line the base of the square tin with non-stick baking parchment. Then, gently pour the brownies batter into it!
  5. Bake it for around 25 min over 180°c. ( the surface should have a papery crust, if not bake for another 5 minutes)
  6. When it’s ready, set aside to cool slightly at room temperature! Then, cut it into squares.

Banana Muffins

My sister and I wanted to have a picnic in the backyard, so we thought about making some muffins! And since they were plenty of bananas at home, nothing would sound better than  big sized Banana muffins! 

The muffins could be ready in 30 minutes, serve with some milk and there you go ! the whole family loved them, the muffins were moist and delicious… Even my mom who thought that bananas were not made for cakes was impressed!  

Try it yourself with this easy recipe!

Ingredients: 

  • 2 bananas
  • 75g white Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 7g baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 150g Flour
  • 70g butter

  1. First, preheat the oven at 190°c.
  2. Mash the bananas, then add sugar, the egg and melted butter.
  3. Beat the mixture, add dry ingredients while whisking!
  4. Fill muffin cases two-thirds full and bake for 20-25 mins, until risen.

Chocolate Muffins

Some people get the jitters when they have to bake,and I am one of them. But sometimes, you just need to overcome that fear by trying easy baking recipes before getting into serious stuffs! It’s time for you to pick up your whisk, recall your inner skils and get ready for some baking lessons!

So lately my sister and I were craving for some mini cakes, I was thinking about making the usual cake recipe but instead I Threw caution to the wind and made some chocolate muffins! Luckily, it didn’t turn into a mess… I mean look at those beauties !!

Ingredients:

  • 50g Icing Sugar
  • 70g Cocoa powder
  • 1 pack of baking powder ( ALSA)
  • 100g flour
  • 50g butter
  • 10 cl milk
  • M&M‘s or chocolate chips

Instructions: 

  1. First, combine the dry ingredients Then add milk and melted butter.
  2. Use a whisk to beat the mixture… Don’t worry, it has to be thick so try not to over mix it!
  3. Fill muffin cases two-thirds full and bake for 20-25 mins, until risen.

Chocolate Cake

Is it just me or you’re also addicted to chocolate? I don’t mind eating any type of chocolate but I do prefer dark chocolate ( 80%)… Have you ever tried eating it with coffee, it’s pure satisfaction !

One of my dearest friends just bought me this box of chocolate and I have to say that his gifts’ choice was perfect ! it was so cute, and it gave me the idea to make this Chocolate cake…

I know that I’ve eaten too much chocolate, but I can’t help it XD It’s a Guilty pleasure !

This chocolate cake is the one and only perfect dessert that fits for everything ! Whether you are a chocolate lover or just looking for an easy way to surprise your friends and family, this one layer chocolate cake is the answer !

Look no further! Satisfy your chocolate desire with this chocolate cake for 4 to 8 servings… Or you can just eat it by your own 😀

 

Ingredients: All you need is

2 cups Flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup oil
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tbs orange or lemon zests
21g baking powder ( 4 tsp )
Directions: 

Only 3 easy steps To make this incredible chocolate cake. First preheat the oven.

1- Make the cake batter by Adding the  wet ingredients to the dry ones, then mix it with a stand mixer or with your hands … You may choose!

PS: Fell free to add anything else to your batter, maybe you can add dry fruits, or white chocolate chips … 

2-  Grease the pan with butter and top it with some flour then pour the batter in it. 

3- bake the cake for about 40 min. 




When it’s ready, top the cake with coffee ( so that it won’t be too dry from the inside) then top it with melted chocolate + coconut powder !

Rosemary, Cinnamon and Honey Fig cake !

 

I usualy have bad memories with food, and figs won’t be the exception!  Warning for the sensible hearts, you really don’t wanna know what I used to think about figs…
But I’ll tell you anyways 😀  When I was a child, my aunt used to scare me using figs… She invented a whole story saying that inside figs are living thousands of worms. Silly me, I beleived her … Since then I’ve never dared to eat them.
But things have changed, now, I’m waiting every year for figs’ season… And guess what foodies? Figs season has come !!!
I can’t wait to show you the recipe of this amazing “Rosemary, Cinnamon and honey Fig cake” !

 

For the Cake

  •  2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest 
  • 6 tbs butter
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 large eggs 
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar

For the Topping

  • 2 tbs butter
  • 12 figs
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
Directions: 

  • First, preheat the oven; 
  • Grap a big bowl and whisk together chopped fresh rosmary, orange zests, sugar, butter and oil… Then add the eggs, beat it well then add honey.


  •  When the mixture is combined, take the dry ingredients and add it to the mixture alternating with the milk.Keep whisking for 2 minutes. 

  • Now grease the pan with butter and top it with some flour then pour the batter in it. Cook the cake for about 40 min.                                                                                 Meanwhile, prepare the topping; Melt Butter into a pan and add the quaterned figs, season it! Let it cook on medium for 3 to 4 min then stir in Honey and remove from heat. 



When your cake is ready, cool it down then pour the topping on top of it and sprinkle some glazing sugar if you want to ! 

Et VOILA !
